Red Giselle
The story tells of the ballerina, who left Kazakhstan because of the breakdown in the 90-s. but she got back in the early 2000s to dance on stage of the renewed Opera Theater in Almaty. The story is based on real facts of famous Kazakhstani ballerina Saule Rakhmedova’s biography.
The film was ordered by JSC “Khabar” Agency” as a part of multi-episode project “Classmates: impossible is nothing” in 2011.
